Lillian I think is catching a bit of a cold. She's been a little feverish and tired all day. But, I wanted to add my fact for the day before I head off to bed (I have 8 minutes left).
FACT:
Children with Down syndrome usually can do what every other child can do. It might take them some time to do it. Walking, talking, dressing and being toilet trained are all possible. Just in their time.
Early Intervention programs help many children with Down syndrome meet and even surpass certain milestones that are expected of "typical" children.
